Bird Watcher
The birds mock me as I stare
Just like the people I know don’t care
The squawks imitate the screaming in my head
But I know I made my bed
I tear myself apart because I love to entertain
My pain has always been your gain
Does my presence feel like a drawback?
The observer that was never observed back
A bird watcher, that’s all I’ll ever be
Why can’t anyone see me?
